Well that was flaming June and a lot of fun it was too! There’s a lot going on to get excited about, and I’m not talking about the football. The festivals are coming thick and fast now and we’re doing our best to keep you up to date.

In this issue we take a look forward at Nozstock - The Hidden Valley - Festival, always one of the highlights of our year. We also feature the upcoming Upton Blues festival as well as the World In A Day festival at Bransford coming up soon.

We also look back fondly at Wychwood Festival and to the inaugural Beardy Folk festival which looks set to be a new favourite on the folk scene.

The Weogoran Pavilion festival in Worcester was a huge success combing music, dance and art and a marvellous spectacle based around a glittering sequin stage.

With so much going on in the arts world it’s difficult to know just where to start this month, so browse these pages and see what you fancy for yourself. There are festivals going on in all corners of our region with something for everyone whatever your prefered genre. So go out, get involved and then tell us all about it, we’d love to hear from you!

In the meantime, make the most of this gorgeous weather because just like the world cup, you know it won’t last forever. Even writing this editorial doesn’t seem so bad when the sun is shining, so enjoy issue 82 and we’ll do this again next month...
