This July, Worcester’s punk scene rallies for one of its own. “A Night of Loud Guitars and Camaraderie” is more than just a gig – it’s a full-force celebration of friendship, noise, and resistance, raising support for local legend Burt in his ongoing fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Expect sweat, volume, and a lineup brimming with UK underground pedigree.

Straight outta Manchester with riffs as filthy as their stage shorts are short, Bruise Control Facebook | Bandcamp bring the chaos with garage-punk energy and a reputation as one of the UK’s most explosive live acts. Don’t expect to stand still for this one.

Bruise Control – Left Behind

From Sunderland Diaz Brothers Facebook | Bandcamp by way of Worcester comes this emotionally charged punk powerhouse. Think melodic hooks with a bite – the kind of sound that ages like fine wine but still punches like a fresh pint to the face. Top shelf stuff.

Diaz Brothers – By My Side

Led by none other than punk historian and lifer Ian ‘Slug’ Glasper, Zero Again Facebook | Bandcamp is a masterclass in modern hardcore. Channelling the dark, jagged fury of Rudimentary Peni with a sharp political edge, this band’s set is likely to be as blistering as it is thought-provoking.

ERO AGAIN – live at ADA PUŁAWSKA

The Midlands’ answer to Hot Snakes, Mt. Yonder Links page | Bandcamp throw precision and melody into a meat grinder of ferocious post-hardcore. Razor-sharp musicianship meets raw passion – the perfect storm to kick things off with intent.

Mt. Yonder – Ones & Zeros

This is more than a gig. It’s a community in full voice. A fundraiser. A show of strength. A noisy, sweaty, punk rock love letter to a man who’s been at the heart of Worcester’s scene for years. All proceeds go towards helping Burt as he faces the daily challenges of MND – so grab your mates, grab your ticket, and show up.

Punk’s not dead. It’s alive, loud, and standing in solidarity.
