StourJam Festival, Stourport-on-Severn – 5–7th June 2026
Eight months out and the buzz around StourJam Festival is already electric. Set to take over Stourport-on-Severn from 5–7 June 2026, the town’s gearing up for a weekend of pure grassroots chaos – the good kind.
The festival officially opened artist applications on 12th October, and it’s fair to say the inbox nearly exploded. Bands, DJs, and singer-songwriters from all over the map are scrambling for a spot on the debut line-up. From jangly indie outfits to stripped-back acoustic acts, the sheer range has smashed organisers’ expectations – and applications are still open (for now). You can apply online.
But this isn’t your average festival cash-grab. StourJam’s got its heart exactly where it should be – in the community. It’s completely free and not-for-profit, raising funds for three heavyweight causes: Dementia UK, The Canal & River Trust, and the Children of Worcestershire & Herefordshire Cancer Fund. Proper good vibes only.
Across town, 14 local venues are joining forces for the takeover with each pub, club and backroom gig space pulsing with live music, uniting the town for one massive, multi-stage celebration of creativity, charity, and noise.
Warming things up, StourJam’s Battle of the Bands series is already underway – six rounds of live showdowns giving unsigned talent a shot at the main stage. The first three heats hit this November, featuring acts from Kidderminster College, Hereford Arts, and Worcestershire Rock Schools. Expect sweat, riffs, and plenty of bragging rights.
“StourJam’s more than a weekend of music – it’s a movement,” says co-founder Chloe Mogg. “We’re building something that celebrates creativity, community and the future of live performance.”
Big tunes, big heart, small town. StourJam 2026 might just be the summer’s best-kept secret – for now.
