Gig Preview: Shtëpi
With The Fazeleys + Concrete Fun House

Saturday, 28th February
The Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham
Doors: 7:30 pm

Art-punk firestarters Shtëpi headline The Sunflower Lounge on 28th February, bringing their chaotic, high-voltage live show to Birmingham.

The five-piece have built a fierce reputation across the south of England, sharing stages with Geese, Personal Trainer, The Lounge Society and Saloon Dion, and earning a longlisting for Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition. Their sets are unpredictable, tightly wound and gloriously unhinged, the kind of performance that turns a small room into a pressure cooker.

Main support comes from The Fazeleys, a West Midlands jangle‑punk outfit whose sharp hooks and scrappy energy make them one of the region’s most exciting new bands. Expect bright guitars, punchy rhythms and a set that balances melody with bite.

Opening the night are Coventry’s Concrete Fun House, a post‑punk‑grunge quintet who blend sci‑fi surrealism with cathartic rants and a surprising amount of joy. After support slots with DSM‑IV, Trupa Trupa and Crywank, plus their first out‑of‑town shows in 2025, the band have just released their debut album ‘I Guess It’s Time We Got Into This’. They describe themselves as “the bouncy castle among the brutalism”, a hall of mirrors, a party cannon aimed straight at the abyss.

Expect noise, chaos, humour and a night where anything could happen. Advance tickets are highly recommended and available now.
