No Body Left Out
Worcester’s Dancefest is gearing up for a week-long fundraising push this March, joining the national Big Give Arts for Impact campaign with a mission to expand inclusive dance opportunities across Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
Running 17–24 March 2026, the charity’s campaign – No Body Left Out – is aiming to raise £3,000 in public donations, which will be doubled through match funding to reach a total of £6,000. The funds will support accessible dance programmes designed to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability or background, has the chance to take part.
Each week, Dancefest works with hundreds of participants of all ages, delivering community classes, education programmes, creative projects and performances. The organisation’s work centres on making dance genuinely open to all — removing barriers so that no body is ever left out.

Money raised during the campaign will directly support more than 300 dancers, including people with learning disabilities and/or autism, as well as those who are D/deaf, blind or visually impaired. To ensure sessions are fully accessible, Dancefest provides a range of specialist support including BSL and Makaton interpretation, audio description, touch tours, one-to-one assistance and travel support.
Dancefest Director Kitty Ross says the campaign is about more than fundraising — it’s about strengthening the region’s dance community. “Dance is for everyone, and we’re determined to break down any barriers that might stop people from moving, expressing themselves and connecting through dance,” Ross said. “The Big Give campaign is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, and with every donation doubled, your support will make a real difference to hundreds of local dancers.”
Donations can be made via BigGive.org.uk throughout the campaign week, with every pound matched while funds last.
