Uncover Music presents a night of high‑voltage noise, psych‑drenched riffs and Midlands grit as Femur headline The Victoria on Wednesday 8th April, with special guests Muthers and Kontours!

Sheffield’s Femur arrive with their signature cocktail of garage‑punk, psych and unhinged live energy, the kind that feels feral, addictive and impossible to look away from. Their shows are notorious for their intensity, tearing through rooms and festivals with a sound that’s as chaotic as it is compelling. This is a band best experienced in the flesh: loud, visceral and absolutely locked‑in.

Femur – One Last Dance

Main support comes from Muthers, a four‑piece from in and around Erdington who blend the groove‑soaked spirit of the 60s and 70s with a modern edge. Originally a power trio inspired by the golden age of rock, the addition of guitarist Lewis Green expanded their sound into something bigger, richer and unmistakably their own. Expect warm tones, tight grooves and a set built on classic influences delivered with fresh energy.

Opening the night are Coventry’s Kontours, a three‑piece channelling grunge‑leaning post‑punk vibes with raw edges and brooding atmosphere. Their sound is gritty, driving and perfectly suited to kick off an evening of noise‑soaked alternative music.

A mid‑week lineup packed with punch, distortion and attitude, ideal for fans of garage‑punk, psych‑rock and anything that thrives in the dark corners of a live room.
