Made in Worcester is a brand-new two-day event shining a spotlight on the incredible independent talent growing right here in Worcestershire.
As part of Independent Venue Week, local promotors Uncover have teamed up with SLAP Mag to bring together some of the county’s most exciting emerging artists for a weekend that celebrates community, creativity and the beating heart of our local music scene.
Expect a full day of high-energy performances on Saturday, 31st January, while Sunday, 1st February will feature an afternoon of intimate, stripped-back sets.

Gecco
Gecco are a psychedelic & progressive rock 3-piece bucket meal from Stourbridge and Worcester. Formerly Echo Gecco, the independent outfit consists of Josh Hunt on guitar and lead vocals, Keega Hoang on bass and backing vocals and Jon Aymes on drums and backing vocals.
Jiksaw
Jiksaw – Intense vocals. Stratospheric guitars. Primal grooves. Jiksaw are a DIY band born out of the borders, twisting genres and elevating modern rock.


BaYkA
BaYkA are a 4-piece ROCK/ALTERNATIVE band from Redditch, South Birmingham.
Combining a mixture of influences to create a sound reminiscent of the early 2000’s Rock scene.
The Human Error
The Human Error are a three-piece punk band from the West Midlands formed in 2021, now in their 5th year of playing gigs. Heavily inspired by early punk bands like The Clash, the Ramones and the Buzzcocks as well as 90s punk bands like Green Day.


The Arboretum
The Arboretum from Worcester, creating loud original music combining a post punk sound with electronic dance-based rhythms and grooves along with wailing vocals, crunching guitars and driving bass lines.

Kyle Parsons is an acoustic singer-songwriter performing emotional, heartfelt songs.

The Mess They Left Behind are a Worcester based 3 piece punk/rock band, combining metal riffs with catchy Pop hooks!

Poppy WS is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter whose original music draws on folk, jazz and acoustic reggae influences. Using live looping with piano, guitar and harmonised vocals. She creates immersive performances inspired by real-life moments, everyday stories and a love for simple, melodic songwriting.


Tor Pingree
Tor Pingree a local politician and musician. Tor makes acoustic folk songs about a variety of topics from frogs to tax evasion.
Ruben Seabright
Ruben Seabright brings you acoustic alternative-folk-metal-grunge-punk nonsense.
