The Pocket Choral Society
Friday 6th June
White Ladies Aston Village Hall, Evesham Road, WR7 4QQ

Doors: 7.00pm | Show: 7.30pm | Tickets: £10 in advance

Prepare yourself for an evening of side-splitting a cappella brilliance as The Pocket Choral Society rolls into White Ladies Aston – part of their riotously fun national tour that’s been delighting village halls up and down the country.

This isn’t your average choral group. Hailing from the mythical village of Pocket, this merry band of unamplified, unaccompanied songsmiths blend pitch-perfect harmony with razor-sharp wit and musical mischief. Expect a mix of original songs and fresh takes on classic numbers from the likes of Lennon & McCartney, Flanders & Swann, and even the gravel-toned genius of Tom Waits – all delivered with a twinkle in the eye and a twist of the unexpected.

Whether they’re gently poking fun at modern life or improvising mid-set, The Pocket Choral Society never fails to bring the house down.

Don’t just take our word for it:

“Like The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band meets Tom Lehrer” – Angela, The Nest, Ledbury
“A cross between Bill Bailey and The Archers” – Linda, Freckenham
“Utterly quirky and hugely engaging, very silly and very clever.” – Jackie, Nottingham
“I only have two words for that show – f*****g brilliant.” – Tony (77), Kirkstile Hall, Cumbria

Come early to enjoy a drink and a chinwag – the bar will be open from 7pm, with the show kicking off promptly at 7.30pm. This is live performance at its most delightful: intimate, unfiltered, and full of joy.

Tickets £10 (advance only) – email margaret.haywood@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
