The Power of Curious Thinking: Creative Minds Unpacked
Podcast Launches from Worcestershire

A new podcast championing curiosity, creative thinking and neurodivergent perspectives has launched from Worcestershire, offering a platform for artists and innovators who don’t quite fit inside the usual boxes.

Creative Minds Unpacked is a new podcast project exploring the inner workings of creative thought. Designed as a safe and open space, the series invites guests to share stories, lived experiences, practical strategies and the odd creative life hack along the way.

The project aims to celebrate people who think differently – particularly neurodivergent creatives – while challenging the systems and structures that often fail to support them. Through conversations with artists, pioneers, big thinkers and professionals who can offer insight or support, the podcast hopes to dig into alternative ways of thinking and making in a rapidly changing world.

Leading the project is Worcestershire-based creative producer Kate Cox, known for her work with Worcester Paint Festival, Clik Clik Collective, and Cabinet of Lost Secrets. The podcast follows on from Cox receiving a Develop Your Creative Practice grant from Arts Council England, which supported the development of the idea.

Cox is joined by videographer and storyteller James Silvanus, with additional support from designer and musician Richard Fox, forming a small but multi-disciplinary team behind the project.

Across the series, Creative Minds Unpacked will explore philosophical approaches to creativity, unconventional processes and new ways of working — all framed within the context of what the team describe as “unprecedented times”.

The podcast is also actively seeking contributors. Creatives with stories to tell, unusual perspectives, or practical tips for neurodivergent artists are encouraged to get in touch.

Episodes are available on the usual streaming platforms, including YouTube, with links collected via Linktree and updates shared through the project’s Facebook and Instagram channels.

For creatives who thrive on curiosity, experimentation and doing things differently, Creative Minds Unpacked might just be worth a listen.
