Join the acclaimed Fulltone Orchestra for an unforgettable evening as they bring the glamour and drama of classic cinema to life in The Golden Age of Hollywood, performed in the stunning setting of Worcester Cathedral.
This dazzling concert takes audiences on a musical journey through some of the most iconic film scores of the 20th century. From the heroic fanfares of The Magnificent Seven and the sweeping grandeur of Ben-Hur, to the romantic charm of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, this programme captures the magic of Hollywood from the 1920s through the 1960s.
Conducted by Musical Director Anthony Brown, the 50-strong Fulltone Orchestra will perform works by legendary composers including Max Steiner, Bernard Herrmann and Henry Mancini — the men behind the unforgettable music that defined a cinematic era.
Joining the orchestra are guest soloists Edward Kerr and Jemma Brown. Kerr, a versatile vocalist with over 30 years’ experience across genres, brings the golden screen’s timeless vocal numbers to life. Brown, a classically trained soprano and passionate educator, returns to the stage following her recent performance with Fulltone in The Peacemakers.
Founded in 2017, The Fulltone Orchestra is known for its vibrant, genre-spanning performances, and under Anthony Brown’s direction, continues to offer audiences bold and beautifully crafted orchestral experiences. Brown said: “This concert truly showcases our orchestra’s versatility and passion. In the magical atmosphere of Worcester Cathedral, our players and soloists will transport you to a world of classic Hollywood grandeur. It’s going to be a night to remember.”
