StourJam has confirmed three of its official charity partners for 2026, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to community, care and local impact. The charities supported this year include Dementia UK, which helps families affected by dementia through its vital Admiral Nurses service; The Canal & River Trust, caring for more than 2,000 miles of Britain’s waterways, including those surrounding Stourport; and Worcestershire Acute Charity – Children’s Cancer Fund, supporting children and families facing cancer treatment locally.
Alongside the line-up announcement, StourJam has also opened its call for volunteers. The festival is welcoming people of all backgrounds who share its values of creativity, kindness and community spirit. No previous festival experience is required – just enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to muck in. There are no age restrictions, with roles available for everyone.
Organisers are particularly keen to hear from those who enjoy working with others, helping audiences feel welcome, supporting set-up and pack-down, or getting involved behind the scenes. Opportunities are also available for anyone interested in learning new skills, including PA system set-up (with training provided), as well as those passionate about music, events, charity awareness and local outreach. A calm head under pressure and a commitment to making events safe, inclusive and accessible are especially valued.
Volunteer roles include stage crew, sound engineers, photographers, hosts, crowd support, runners, festival build and breakdown teams, and charity awareness support.
Anyone interested in volunteering at StourJam from 5–7 June 2026 can apply online.
