Winter Gardens are set to headline The Victoria on Thursday, 18th September, when they’ll deliver a spellbinding set of shimmering synths, layered guitars, and celestial harmonies.

Led by Ananda Howard and Jasmine Ardley, the Brighton-based outfit fuse ethereal shoegaze textures with post-punk urgency and gothic undertones, crafting a sound that’s both haunting and euphoric. Their live show promises a journey through contrast, light and dark, intimacy and grandeur, wrapped in cryptic lyricism and dynamic sonic shifts.

Joining them are Coventry trio Mvnich, whose genre-blending style spans blues, post-punk, and indie grit. Formed after a chance encounter outside a pub, the band have since built a reputation for tight, energetic sets and a sound that’s as unpredictable as it is compelling. With support slots for Catholic Action and sold-out shows at HMV Empire, MVNICH bring raw edge and melodic depth to the night.

Opening the evening are Birmingham’s Heavy Focus, a rising four-piece whose blend of indie folk and alternative textures draws inspiration from Alvvays, Big Thief, and The Smiths. With intricate lyricism and infectious melodies, their sound is both nostalgic and refreshingly new.

Three bands. One stage. A night of atmospheric beauty, post-punk punch, and indie soul awaits at The Victoria!
