Worcester Music Festival returns from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th September, promising a dynamic weekend of live music, community connection, and charitable fundraising across Worcester city centre.

With 300 performances planned across 25 venues, including an outdoor stage in Cathedral Square, the festival promises an eclectic celebration of grassroots culture and local talent. Venues range from iconic Worcester music venues to tattoo studios, bars, breweries, record shops, a church, and wine bars, all easily spotted by the festival’s bright red venue signs.

Since its launch in 2008, Worcester Music Festival has grown into a cornerstone of the region’s cultural life, spotlighting emerging talent and supporting independent spaces. Local promoters have curated a genre-spanning line-up that reflects the diversity and creativity of the grassroots music scene, drawing thousands of attendees each year.

In keeping with its community-first ethos, the festival has named Worcester Snoezelen as its 2025 charity. All donations raised over the weekend will go directly to supporting the charity’s work with children and adults who have learning disabilities and additional needs. Worcester Snoezelen offers a safe, inclusive environment where individuals can engage in multisensory activities designed to foster joy, communication, and empowerment.

Building on last year’s fundraising success, when over £5,400 was raised for the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Motor Neurone Disease Association, the festival team is aiming to exceed that total in 2025.

No tickets are required to attend. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the music, support local artists and venues, and donate generously via online platforms, collection buckets, or directly to the festival’s charity team, who will be visible throughout the city in their unique costumes.
