Dom Joly’s SpeakeaZy – A Cabaret of Curiosities is back at The Steam & Whistle, Cheltenham, with six brand-new dates announced for the coming months.
The intimate, unpredictable night of music, comedy and unfiltered conversation has quickly become a favourite on Cheltenham’s cultural calendar. Part chat show, part cabaret and part gloriously chaotic night out, SpeakeaZy thrives on one simple rule: expect the unexpected.
The guest list remains firmly under wraps, with audiences discovering who is taking to the stage only when the lights go up. Previous SpeakeaZy guests have included Adrian Chiles, Seann Walsh, Jenny Éclair, Pauline McLynn, James Walsh (Starsailor), Tom A Smith, Babybird, The Bluetones and Nigel ‘Dodgy’Clark (pictured from his June 4th appearance) alongside political figures, comedians, writers and musical wildcards.

For Joly, bringing the show to his hometown has become a particular highlight, with each evening built around the spontaneous chemistry between guests and host.
Meanwhile, Joly is also gearing up for the launch of Mugwuffin, a brand-new comedy project with long-time Trigger Happy TV collaborator Sam, ahead of the Trigger Happy 25 national tour celebrating 25 years of the cult comedy series.
For Cheltenham audiences, though, the SpeakeaZy remains the place to be for an evening where nobody – including Dom Joly – quite knows what’s going to happen next.

Advance tickets for these show are available and are highly recommended.
