First active from 1991-1994, Absolution reunited in 2012 and the cannibal clan have been raising hell live up and down the land. Playing Old-School Death Metal in the vein of Massacre, Master, and Benediction, these veterans of the scene can promise a night of skull-crushing audio violence. Birmingham based, they have slayed twice already at Paradiddles, and will bring forth a night of terror, pain, and tinnitus that will leave you with a rictus grin across your face.

Founded in 2015, CogaS bring forth merciless, unrelenting Blackened Death Metal in the vein of Belphegor, Incantation, and Hate. Whilst based in London, these maniacs hail originally from Sardinia, with their name being the Sardinian for “witches”. Bludgeoning riffs give way to haunting melodies that conjure forth a suffocating darkness from the Stygian Abyss from whence these heathens souls originate. Let the Gates of Tartarus open and the demons feast!

Originally founded in 2007 in Dingwall in the Highlands by Mark Dubanowski, since relocating to Worcester and recruiting Tom Doherty and Rich Moynihan, Desecrator have brought forth numerous nights of crushing Death Metal mayhem at Paradiddles. These local lads fuse elements from Cannibal Corpse and Deicide with bands like Emperor to create a modern yet vicious take on melodic Death Metal that will be seen in full on their upcoming EP “Invoking Thy Eternal Reign of Torment”. Expect fire and fury as these Worcestershire warriors kick the night off.

Sadistic Screams was founded in 2010 and has brought forth metal madness through multifarious means, starting as a radio programme and since diversifying into a zine, webzine, gig promotion, and club nights. Sadistic Screams organise both the monthly Raise The Dead heavy metal club nights at Heroes and monthly Death Metal, Black Metal, and Doom Metal gigs at Paradiddles. Whilst the club nights play the best heavy music from 1965 to 1995, the gigs aim to bring the best underground bands to Worcester.
