Blues and Funk Fusion: Where Experience Meets Energy
Having crossed paths in their numerous experiences on the UK scene, the Jon Amor Trio decided to join forces in 2022 to indulge in their mutual love of blues and funk, delivering high-energy sets across the land.
Fronted by Jon Amor, known throughout Europe for his time with The Hoax and now well-established as a performer in his own right, the band also features bass virtuoso Jerry Soffe (previously played with Larry Garner, Malone/Sibun Band, John Etheridge), and drummer Tom Gilkes (previously played with Marc Ford of The Black Crowes, Elles Bailey, Willie & The Bandits).
Promoting their brand new album ‘The Turnaround’, which perfectly captures the band’s dynamic sound, Jon Amor Trio are making waves throughout the UK and Europe.
Formed in 2022, from the Forest of Dean and Ross-on-Wye, Vendetta Deluxe are an alt-rock three-piece with a sprinkling of punk and a nod to grunge. With songs covering life in an ex-mining town to wider-ranging socially political themes, the band have invited comparisons to Nirvana, Green Day, Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age, and Manic Street Preachers.
Vendetta Deluxe have had radio play here and in the US with their first two singles “City of Trees” and “Kamikaze Eyes”, which are available on all main platforms. Their debut album is imminent.
