Uncover Music presents a night of dark grooves, swaggering riffs and rising UK talent as Krooked Tongue headline Actress & Bishop on Friday, 8th May, joined by special guests Rooted and Liars at the Witch Trial.

Bristol trio Krooked Tongue have carved out a fierce reputation since exploding onto the scene with their debut EP No Vacancy Hotel in 2022. Recorded with Josh Gallop (Phoxjaw, Mother Vulture), the EP has surpassed 200,000 streams and earned praise from Ones To Watch, HardBeat Magazine, Distorted Sound and more.

Their 2023 follow‑up EP Deathproof pushed their sound into heavier, sharper territory, leading to them racking up over 320,000 streams and receiving support from Louder Than War Radio, Sirius XM, BBC Introducing and a growing list of tastemakers.

On stage, Krooked Tongue are all attitude and precision: thick riffs, brooding energy and a live presence that feels both dangerous and addictive. They’ve shared stages with Virgin Marys, False Heads, Phoxjaw, Moriaty, The Soap Girls, Mother Vulture, and hit festivals including Icebreaker, Dot to Dot, Tallinn Music Week and Burn It Down. Their biggest milestone yet came in August 2024, joining Kid Brunswick on his final Dead Forever tour.
