Acclaimed singer-songwriter Pete Williams returns to St. George’s Hall with his formidable live band for their first appearance at the venue in seven years — and they arrive with serious momentum behind them.

Over the past few years, the band have toured extensively across the UK and beyond, building a reputation for passionate, electrifying performances that leave a lasting impression. Personally invited by The Proclaimers to open their 30-date tour, they also appeared as special guests on the sold-out 21-date Protest Songs UK Tour alongside The Specials, winning over audiences night after night with their intensity and musicianship. Williams id further endorsed by Iggy Pop (BBC 6 Music), Richard Hawley and Imelda May

Festival appearances and headline performances have continued to cement their growing reputation, including a standout headline slot on the Lunar Stage at Moseley Folk Festival and a sold-out show at the new performance space within Symphony Hall in April 2025.

As a founding member of Dexys Midnight Runners and a key creative force in the band’s later resurgence as Dexys, Williams has long been recognised as one of Britain’s most distinctive musical voices. With three critically acclaimed solo albums already behind him and a keenly anticipated new record due later this year, this show promises a perfect mix of powerful songwriting, raw energy and unforgettable live music.

Delivering a rich blend of musical influences and emotional depth, Chloe Mogg creates beautifully spacious songs that draw audiences through every shade of feeling. Armed with only her voice, guitar and a collection of wonderfully unusual effects, she crafts performances that are intimate, haunting and utterly absorbing.

Instantly recognisable for her vibrant “parrot hair”, quirky charm and infectious smile, Mogg brings colour and personality to every stage she steps onto. Yet beneath the warmth lies a striking ability to captivate a room, weaving stories with raw honesty and powerful vocals that linger long after the final note. Chloe Mogg’s music moves effortlessly between atmospheric folk, alternative rock and soulful acoustic textures, showcasing an artist with both individuality and emotional range.
