Legss
With Pay The Stranger & Mt Yonder
Thursday, 16th October 2025 – The Victoria, Birmingham (Doors: 7:30 pm)

Advance tickets available online

London’s Legss headline The Victoria on Thursday, 16th October, bringing their singular blend of jagged guitars, spoken-word surrealism and rhythmical chaos to Birmingham’s underground scene. Known for their disquieting monologues and genre-defying sound, Legss have carved out a space that’s equal parts post-punk, performance art and sonic experimentation.

Since their debut EP, Writhing Comedy, in 2019, the band has continued to evolve, with follow-up releases, Doomswayers and Fester, earning praise from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, and publications including The Sunday Times, The Quietus, and DIY. Their 2025 debut album, Unreal, pushes further into the strange and satirical, cementing their reputation as one of the UK’s most compelling and unconventional live acts.

Joining them are Birmingham’s Pay The Stranger, a four-piece fronted by DIY stalwart Tony Bontana. Their sound fuses the heavy fuzz of 90s alt-rock with the dreamy haze of shoegaze, creating emotionally rich, immersive landscapes. With their debut album, Home for the Weekend, freshly released and support slots for Keg and They Are Gutting A Body of Water, the band is quickly gaining momentum.

Opening the night are Mt Yonder, an exciting project formed from members of Blakfish, The Broken Oak Duet, &U&I, Shapes and The Cape of Good Hope. Their music channels angular urgency and melodic depth, born from overlapping scenes and a shared need for release.

Expect a night of sonic tension, lyrical grit and boundary-pushing performances. Limited tickets remaining!
