Projector headline The Sunflower Lounge on Monday, 13th October, bringing their genre-defying blend of alt-rock, post-punk and industrial pop to one of Birmingham’s most beloved grassroots venues.

Since forming in Brighton in 2018, Projector have carved out a sound that’s as chaotic as it is melodic, combining angular drum machines, lush harmonies and hook-laden riffs with a fearless approach to experimentation.

Their debut album, Now When We Talk It’s Violence, swings between Joy Division-style brutalism and Squid-flavoured rant-pop, with detours into acid-tinged country and grunge-soaked paranoia. It’s a record that refuses to sit still, and their live show promises just as much intensity and unpredictability.

Joining them are North West outfit The Bunny Suit, whose stripped-back post-punk aesthetic delivers raw energy and sharp-edged minimalism. Expect driving rhythms, jagged guitars and a sound that’s both urgent and atmospheric.

Opening the night are Rood End, a rising West Midlands band inspired by the likes of Shame, Fontaines D.C. and The Murder Capital. Formed in late 2023, their music channels the restless spirit of modern post-punk with a local edge and plenty of bite.

A night of sonic chaos, brooding textures and bold new voices awaits, get your tickets before it’s too late!
