Single cover for She Bitch by Trash Flower

Trash Flower are a female-fronted hard rock/alt-rock band based in Gloucestershire. Heavily influenced by grunge, classic rock, new wave and alternative acts, they blend elements of each genre to create a dynamic sound of their own.

Based on previous reviews, these guys are a must-see act on the local festival scene, thanks to their energetic stage presence. Having already performed at Worcester Music Festival and Malvern Rocks, it’ll be exciting to see what their future schedule holds.

She Bitch by Trash Flower

The track opens with a melodic intro that builds steadily before Aimee’s deep, powerful vocals cut through, immediately making the song’s subject clear from its title. Repeated, biting lines aimed at that subject rage over the driving melody beneath. The hook is addictive, looping in your head long after the track ends.

The band’s musicianship shines through in fast, inventive riffs that evolve as the track builds, fuelled by pent-up resentment. We all have that one person we feel the need to warn others about—and this is the perfect soundtrack to vent to and shout along with. It hits hard, delivering its message with anger and conviction: stay away.

Following a break after their performance at Malvern Rocks last August while Aimee had a baby, the band are now working towards an album. That hopefully means upcoming live shows will feature even more of what we hear here. With their strong, energetic sound, Trash Flower look set to deliver festival performances capable of blowing the roof off this summer.
