The Antipoet
Saturday 7th June, 7pm at Script Haven, Worcester
Bringing the curtain down on this year’s Alchemy of Words Festival in unforgettable style, we’re delighted to welcome back the riotous, irreverent, and utterly brilliant Antipoet. Often dubbed “The Masters of Beatrantin’ Rhythm and Views”, this unstoppable duo—Paul Eccentric and Ian Newman—have carved out a truly unique niche at the crossroads of poetry, punk, and performance.
With over a decade on the circuit, they’ve become a fixture on the UK’s festival and spoken word scenes, regularly tearing it up at the likes of Glastonbury, Bestival, Rebellion, Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton, Lake Fest, and many more. Whether delivering scathingly sharp social satire, rhythmic rants or unexpectedly touching verses, The Antipoet always bring both brains and belly laughs.
Expect punchy poems, bold basslines and a proper good time. If you’ve not seen them before, now’s your chance – and if you have, you know not to miss it. This promises to be a sell-out show full of energy, wit and wicked wordplay.
