Mansfield’s own The Publics headline The Victoria on Wednesday, 19th November, bringing their powerhouse blend of indie rock and anthemic choruses to one of Birmingham’s most beloved grassroots venues.
Since forming in 2018, the five-piece has built a reputation for high-energy live shows, catchy riffs, and a sound that speaks to fans across genres and generations. Their rock-and-roll spirit is infectious, and their stage presence is not to be missed!
Joining them is Birmingham-based singer-songwriter James Pullen, a rising talent with a dynamic musical background. A multi-instrumentalist and recent BIMM graduate, James blends powerful vocals with rich, genre-crossing arrangements. His performances are heartfelt, versatile, and full of promise, an artist clearly on the rise.
Opening the night is Gemma Ballam, an alternative pop artist originally from the Highlands of Scotland. Now based in Birmingham, Gemma draws inspiration from indie and rock to craft emotionally resonant songs with a fresh edge.
