Upton Blues Festival by Richard Purvis

It may not come as a huge surprise to anyone given the current circumstances, that the Upton Blues Festival 2021 has been officially cancelled

The committee were hopeful but after taking advice it became evident that safety could not be reasonably guaranteed that the current restrictions remain in July.

However, the Upton Blues Festival committee are determined to keep the spirit of the festival alive, for when we can all get back together on the stages, in the campsites, the pubs and on the streets. The UBF committee isn’t going to take the ravages of Covid-19 lying down!

In the absence of live music and a live, on-site festival we will still be busy here… check out https://upton-blues-festival.co.uk/

Check their social media channels for news of virtual performances, updated playlists, interviews and podcasts with previous and upcoming Upton Blues performers, digital panel discussions and Q+A sessions and other events leading up to and celebrating the 20th Anniversary. Look out for some merchandise while you’re…

Anyone who had already purchased a “2021 UBF Camping Ticket” will get an automatic full refund over the next few weeks.

The UBF committee are asking all the bands on all main stages who very kindly agreed to transfer their contracts from 2020 into 2021 if they would be prepared to extend again into the weekend of July 15th – 17th 2022.

Here’s to next year…!
