Photo exhibit at Your Worcester Exhibition

A new free, permanent exhibition at Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum is now open, celebrating the city’s rich heritage through the voices of its people. Your Worcester brings together favourites from the museum collection – like King John’s teeth, the Worcester pear, and Lea & Perrins links – with new objects donated and curated by the community, including Windrush clothing and Worcester City FC memorabilia.

Funded by Arts Council England, the exhibition was shaped entirely by Worcester residents based on what matters most to them. “This isn’t a history of Worcester – it’s Worcester told by the people who live here,” said curator David Nash.

Talks and tours run monthly and cost £4.50. Entry to the museum is free. Open Tuesday–Saturday, 10am–4pm; Sundays, 10am–3pm. Closed Mondays and bank holidays.
