Band Together 2024 – Saturday June 29th, Cripplegate Park, Worcester

Warmup events to wet the appetite
Friday March 1st, Barnards Green Cricket Club
Sunday March 31st, The Morgan, Gt Malvern

Established in late 2022 with the aim of creating an inclusive community music event in the heart of the City of Worcester to raise funds for local homeless charities, Band Together epitomizes grassroots efforts.

Chewie, a longstanding presence in the Worcestershire music scene since the 90s, is well-versed in the art of performance. Ruth, Chewie’s partner, serves as the creative force behind the operation, turning ideas into reality. Laura, a networking dynamo, connects the dots as the overarching vision comes into focus.

With support and encouragement from their friends at Woo Fest and Mappfest, Band Together has forged a strong reputation in the local scene and is poised to host this year’s inaugural main event, Band Together 2024!

This one-day festival will run from 1-9pm on Saturday, June 29th, in Cripplegate Park, featuring a line-up of musical artists generously lending their talents to the cause. This year, proceeds will support Worcestershire homeless charities Maggs and the Worcester Street Cafe.

Among the artists gracing the stage this year are Capas, Mirror Mirror, Jiksaw, Patrilineals, Ruben Seabright, and Kaitlyn Elverson, with more acts yet to be announced.

But to build excitement ahead of the main event, there are still two fundraisers you can attend in March. On Friday, March 1st, Barnards Green Cricket Club will host a fundraiser featuring Chewie, The Hill’s Angels, Ian Luther & the Debbie Parry Band. Then, on Sunday, March 31st, The Morgan in Great Malvern will light up with performances by Nothin’ But Dust, The Hill’s Angels, Stealth, Clare Portman, and Dave Onions in the afternoon.
