Preview: Droitwich Arts Network Exhibition
Gallery Room, Droitwich Library
Until 31 October – free entry
Droitwich Library is hosting a vibrant showcase of local artistic talent, with 85 colourful works by 25 artists taking over its upstairs Gallery Room throughout October.
Curated by Droitwich Arts Network, the free exhibition brings together a diverse mix of styles, subjects and colours, offering visitors the chance to discover the work of artists from across the local community. With pieces available to buy at affordable prices, there’s also an opportunity to take home something original.
It’s the network’s first major members’ exhibition since the closure of its former Hub in St Andrews Square last year. Chairman Rhys Jones welcomed the opportunity to put members’ work back in the public eye, highlighting the quality and accessibility of the artwork on display.
A not-for-profit organisation with more than 70 members, Droitwich Arts Network continues to champion local creativity and provide opportunities for artists to share their work.
The exhibition runs until 31 October and is free to visit during Droitwich Library’s opening hours.
An online catalogue, along with photographs of the exhibition, is available on the Droitwich Arts Network website.
