Organiser Peter Barnett says the series remains committed to bringing talented and original musicians from the UK and overseas to the hall, while keeping live music accessible through a flexible ticketing system.
“Our flexible pricing structure is graded to levels that hopefully suit everyone’s pockets,” explains Peter. “If you can afford to pay the full ticket price we have a Standard price, but if that’s out of your reach there are also lower costs.”
There is no segregation between ticket holders, with all seating allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry is simply via a list at the door, so there is no need to produce a ticket.
The autumn programme gets underway on Friday 18th September with a special album launch from blues musician Sunjay and the Mighty Tight Band.

The show celebrates the release of Sunjay’s tenth studio album, ‘Split The Sheets’, with the set drawing on material from the new record alongside songs from across a catalogue built over more than 15 years of recording and performing.
Then, on Friday 23rd October, the Severn Sessions welcome one of British folk’s most enduring and celebrated partnerships, Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman.
The Dartmoor-based husband-and-wife duo have twice won the coveted Best Duo title at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, alongside Best Duo honours at the Folking.com and Spiral Earth awards.
Across three decades, Roberts and Lakeman have continued to evolve, combining traditional song arrangements with their own material and delivering performances that range from the bitter to the sweet, the wry to the sad and the political to the personal.
The folk theme continues on Friday 27th November with the return of Granny’s Attic, one of the UK’s most energetic and exciting folk acts.

There’s a particular reason for the “welcome back”. Music in the Hall first featured Granny’s Attic as a young support act in 2016, when the trio were on the brink of leaving school and just beginning the musical journey that would see them become one of the country’s best-loved folk groups. Renowned for their high-octane performances and inventive approach to traditional material, the trio bring verve, energy and their own unmistakable style to the stage.
With three very different but equally compelling acts, the autumn Severn Sessions promise another strong run of live music at one of Bewdley’s much-loved venues. Further artists are expected to be announced over the coming months.
Tickets are available through the Music in the Hall website, with the flexible pricing system designed to make these performances accessible to as many people as possible.
