Masca with The Cape of Good Hope + Otto and the Dark
Saturday 6th June
The Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham – 7:30 pm

Advance Tickets available

A gloriously off‑kilter night of alt‑pop mischief, post‑hardcore crunch and indie‑emo grit lands at The Sunflower Lounge on Saturday, 6th June, as Masca headline, joined by special guests The Cape of Good Hope and Otto and the Dark.

Bristol trio Masca sound like the awkward third wheel at a Marina & The Diamonds and No Doubt date, boasting classy vocals, janky guitars, saucy basslines and drums that hit exactly where they should. Their songs are little pickled onions: sharp, layered, addictive.

Fronted by Tina Maynard (ex‑Soeur) alongside Jack Hamilton and Ben Holyoake, Masca sail boldly between pop and rock with producer Eliott Vaughan steering the ship. Signed to Marshall Live, they’ve been selling out shows across the UK and are gearing up for a huge run of dates. This is music for the weird, the wonderful, the thinkers and the party‑people.

MASCA – Love Letters

West Midlands progressive indie rock outfit The Cape of Good Hope bring complex rhythms, jagged guitars and a genre‑bending approach that refuses to sit still. Expect intensity, intricacy and a set that keeps you guessing.

Leamington Spa trio Otto and the Dark are here to put the rock back in indie. After 20 years of Monday‑night rehearsals, they’ve honed a sound full of clean‑to‑crunch riffs, melodic vocals and intricate rhythms. Drawing from Jimmy Eat World, Minus the Bear, Incubus and Death Cab for Cutie, they channel a golden age of emo‑rock while pushing it somewhere new.

A Saturday night stacked with alt‑pop sparkle, post‑hardcore bite and indie‑emo heart, perfect for anyone who loves their live music clever, chaotic and full of personality.

A must see show – Advance Tickets are highly recommended.
