Ahead of his UK tour this summer, Palestinian singer-songwriter Zaid Hilal brings his powerful blend of folk, pop and resistance music to Stroud Brewery on June 24.
Hailing from Bethlehem, Zaid Hilal has emerged as one of the most compelling contemporary voices in Palestinian music — weaving traditional melodies, modern arrangements and deeply personal storytelling into emotionally charged live performances. Drawing on the sounds and histories of Palestine, his music reimagines heritage songs alongside original material that reflects everyday life under occupation, memory, identity and resilience.
Since forming his band in 2016, Hilal has performed extensively across Palestine and internationally, building a growing global audience through his dynamic live shows and striking vocal presence.
