Gig Preview: Retsecrows with Fracxura + Crimson Flame
Friday 6 November 2026 – The Church Venue, Kidderminster
Doors open at 7.30pm and entry is free
Kidderminster’s own Retsecrows are heading home for a headline show at The Church Venue on Friday 6 November, bringing two special guests along for an evening of riffs, raw energy and emerging rock talent. Best of all, entry is free.
The four-piece, billed as the UK’s youngest touring rock band, have spent a busy year building their reputation on the live circuit, with appearances at festivals including Call of the Wild and Rockmantic Weekender.
Drawing inspiration from Black Sabbath, Pearl Jam and The Offspring, Retsecrows combine classic rock influences with a contemporary edge, delivering powerful riffs and energetic live performances.
They’ll be joined by Midlands hard rockers Fracxura, whose sound blends classic metal influences with big hooks and plenty of energy. The band released their Live Fast Die Free EP earlier this year.
Opening the evening are Worcestershire’s Crimson Flame, bringing a psychedelic blues-rock sound influenced by Led Zeppelin, early Fleetwood Mac, The Yardbirds and Jimi Hendrix, with a touch of soul thrown into the mix.
Retsecrows said: “We’ve been looking forward to this one for a long time. We’ve played some incredible venues and festivals this year, but there’s something really special about coming home to Kidderminster. To have two fantastic bands joining us at The Church Venue makes it even better. We want to make it a night to remember.”
With three bands on the bill and no admission charge, the show offers a chance to catch some emerging Midlands talent in a distinctive local live music venue.
Retsecrows, Fracxura and Crimson Flame play The Church Venue, Kidderminster, on Friday 6 November 2026. Doors open at 7.30pm and entry is free.
