Severn Arts Summer Festival- Worcester on Saturday 27 June

Families, music lovers and budding creatives are invited to enjoy a full day of free entertainment when the Severn Arts Summer Festival returns to Worcester on Saturday 27 June.

Now in its third year, the popular festival will transform the city centre from 10am to 4pm with a packed programme of live music, exhibitions and hands-on activities celebrating local creativity and emerging young talent.

Throughout the day, performances will take place at The Guildhalland in its courtyard, featuring an eclectic mix of Severn Arts youth bands, orchestras, solo performers and small ensembles. Meanwhile, additional live performances will be staged at St Andrew’s Church from 11am onwards.

In Cathedral Square, the ever-popular Music Box bus will offer interactive musical fun for all ages, giving visitors the chance to experiment with drum machines, electric guitars and DJ decks, or even step into the vocal booth and have a go themselves.

A key part of this year’s event is the Festival Makers programme, which sees young people helping to shape and deliver many aspects of the festival, offering hands-on experience in bringing a major community arts event to life.

With live music, creativity and family-friendly activities spread across the city centre, the Severn Arts Summer Festival promises another vibrant celebration of Worcester’s thriving arts scene.
