A kaleidoscopic night of psych‑pop shimmer, Stour‑pop bite and electric mayhem lands at The Sunflower Lounge on Tuesday 26th May as Hutch headline, joined by special guests Supersonic Fuzz Gun and Amphibious Priests.

Brighton’s Hutch have become one of the UK’s most joy‑filled new live acts, blending whimsical psychedelic twang‑pop with irresistible hooks and a stage presence that feels like pure sunshine.

Emerging post‑lockdown with a burst of momentum, they’ve sold out hometown staples like Green Door Store, Komedia and The Old Blue Last, while touring across the UK and Europe with artists including The Last Dinner Party, W.I.T.C.H, Oracle Sisters, Gitkin, Do Nothing and LOVE.

Hillside Wool by Hutch

In 2025, Hutch teamed up with producer Iggy B (Penelope Isles, Deery, Gary Numan) to shape their upcoming EP and debut LP, recorded by the sea and steeped in the band’s signature warmth. They’ve also completed two headline UK tours, contributed backing vocals to Paris Paloma’s Good Boy, and supported fundraisers for MAP, testicular cancer awareness and Parkinson’s research.

Their live show has grown even richer with harp, synth, flute and expanded harmonies, described by Far Out Magazine as “Brian Wilson‑esque.” With support from Radio X, BBC Radio 6 Music (“Joyous” – Deb Grant) and BBC Radio 1, Hutch are firmly on the rise.

Birmingham’s Supersonic Fuzz Gun bring their self‑coined Stour‑pop to the bill: a noisy, energetic indie/alt sound shaped by the Stourbridge lineage of Ned’s Atomic Dustbin and The Wonder Stuff. Expect youthful chaos, fuzzy riffs and a set bursting with local attitude.

West Midlands outfit Amphibious Priests are set to open the night, and describe their sound as “electric mayhem”, a wild blend of psychedelic rock, punk edges, funk grooves and soulful undercurrents. Their comeback shows have been packed with colour, character and a fearless sense of play.

A Tuesday night overflowing with psych‑pop sparkle, indie fuzz and psychedelic punk‑funk energy that’s perfect for anyone who loves live music that’s vibrant, unpredictable and full of personality.
