Worcester Arts Workshop’s #WAWMantle Creative Connections Project

The aim of the #WAWMantle project was to encourage children to share their creativity during isolation. Worcester Arts Workshop had a wonderful response to the call out, receiving videos and photos from young people across the region. You can read more about the project and join in with the video demonstration on the WAW website https://worcesterartsworkshop.org.uk/thanks-to-everyone-who-took-part-in-wawmantle/

Creating Space News

This week we have released our first full length tutorial video over on our YouTube channel. Our continued health and well-being work on our blog and video content has been made possible  by a grant from Arts Council England to enable us to continue with our work from home during Covid-19. With our new kit and editing software we have also been able to give our website a facelift with new images and backgrounds – let us know what you think 🙂

There’s been some changes to our Art Therapy booking system which means you can now complete an initial contact form for a call back from one of our therapy team to arrange a one to one art therapy session. We are currently still seeing clients via zoom and are looking to be able to move these appointments back to physical appointments when it is safe to do so – but this won’t be for a while yet. But this doesn’t mean you can’t get the support if you need it.

Claire’s work in partnership with Wychavon Community Development with their #LookingInReachingOut project has been continuing and their latest video releases by artists Sarah Millin are available to view right now Part One (Materials)Part two (setting up your still life)andPart Three (Drawing exercises).
