What A SHAMBLES!
Weaver’s Gallery in Ledbury – 17th to 22nd August
‘WHAT A SHAMBLES!’ is taking place in the Weaver’s Gallery in Ledbury from 17th to 22nd August, and features oil paintings by three of the artists associated with Shambles Fine Art namely Mark Holmes, Jessica Andersen and Peter Soye.
Mark paints extraordinarily vivid pieces mostly based on nature and landscape around Worcestershire, but rendered in such detail as to take on a certain abstract quality.
Jessica will be exhibiting a set of slightly surreal landscapes based on memories of her childhood in South Africa as well as other recent paintings.
Peter utilizes a figurative and narrative approach to explore human fallibility and the absurdity of the world, but will also include some pieces completed over the last two years based on the conflict in Palestine.
